BioAlbert Wesker is the closest thing the Resident Evil series has to an antagonist.
He started out a researcher developing the T-Virus, using human experimentation and undoubtedly assisting in disposal of the many failures. When asked by his superiors at the Umbrella corporation, he formed the S.T.A.R.S. unit of the Raccoon City Police Department. He then disposed of most of them for the sake of his career.
He was planning to betray Umbrella and rise further to power. He injected himself with a modified virus that made him superhuman as part of his plan, but the surviving members of S.T.A.R.S. promptly came to stop him.
Wesker was forced to go under cover while he regrouped.
His abilities: enhanced vision, especially at night. He possesses extremely rapid speed and is capable of maintaining it for some time. His reflexes are inhuman. He has highly enhanced strength. Well trained in combat. His best asset is his formidable intelligence. His primary purpose right now does not involve harming anyone who wants to talk to him. That would draw attention.
